Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muaythai fighter from Peru and a mixed martial arts athlete competing for the UFC for the Flyweight Division. She is an Kyrgyzstani. Valentina Shevchenko, who is a former UFC Flyweight titleholder, and UFC fellow fighter is her elder sister. Antonina Shevchenko, an experienced Muay Thai kickboxer, began her fight sports career at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko took the title by unanimously defeating Suzane Miller. Antonina continued to win and won a silver medal in 2007, a bronze in 2008 and a gold award in 2011 and the year-end 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonia began her professional career at the age of 2003. She won the World K-1 Championships of WKC Light Welterweight in 2012 as well as the Lightweight Lion Fight Championships in 2016 as well as both the WMC World Championships as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina was last in action against Isa Tidblad Kskikangas in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The fight was won by unanimous decision. Shevchenko won against Anissa by unanimous decision, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. In 2018, she left the tournament and started competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko faced Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina knocked out Nievera using her striking skills that were superior during the clinch final round by using knees on the body. Antonina's UFC contract was renewed after this win. Antonina was given the UFC contract after her win. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight after winning the first bout by a unanimous decision. Antonina has recovered from her loss by defeating Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler through rear-naked-choke submission. The result earned her the fight-of-the-night bonus. Shevchenko had a win in her first three fights but then lost them to Katlyn Cahookagian, Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina has recently been lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
